Job summary

Storable is seeking a FinOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering and DevOps team. This fully remote role focuses on cloud cost optimization, financial accountability, and operational excellence across our multi‑cloud infrastructure.

You will translate usage and billing data into actionable insights that improve efficiency and business outcomes. You will partner with Platform Engineering, DevOps, and product teams to balance cost with performance, reliability, and scalability while driving

Qualifications

3+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
Production FinOps experience with cloud cost optimization.
Proficiency with at least one major cloud cost tool (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Ability to automate workflows with scripting to analyze cloud spend.

Responsibilities

Establish cloud cost visibility with tagging strategies and cost allocation.
Identify and drive cost optimization opportunities across clouds.
Automate FinOps processes like forecasting and anomaly detection.
Balance cost efficiency with performance and reliability with teams.
Create dashboards and reports on cloud spend trends and forecasts.
Define FinOps governance policies and best practices.
Collaborate with engineering and finance to align cloud investments with business goals.
Use AI-powered analytics to surface optimization opportunities and detect spend anomalies.
Analyze usage patterns and run experiments to validate optimization approaches.
