Job summary

Humana seeks a Technical FinOps Analyst to bridge cloud engineering and finance, driving transparent and optimized technology spending. You’ll partner with engineering, operations, and finance to improve cost visibility and implement cost-saving measures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You’ll analyze usage, guide budgeting and forecasting, and deliver dashboards for leadership. This role requires strong analytical skills and FinOps experience, with emphasis on collaboration and effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• FinOps knowledge and cloud cost management experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud cost allocation and budgeting processes.
• Certifications in cloud/FinOps disciplines are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Usage analysis to identify anomalies, over-provisioning, and underutilized resources for right-sizing or decommissioning.
• Translate reserved instance strategies, spot pricing, and infrastructure changes into cost-saving actions.
• Build and maintain cost allocation frameworks to track cloud spend by team, project, or service (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and manage chargeback/showback programs.
• Collaborate with finance for budgeting and forecasting based on usage trends.
• Create dashboards and reports for leadership on spend, savings, and efficiency metrics.
