Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Associate Planner to support a Lead Planner in delivering quality financial advice. This role is ideal for a professional pursuing a career in financial planning.

You will participate in client meetings, develop plans, and provide ongoing service with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. This full-time, remote role offers an Apprenticeship Pathway toward the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related major is required.
• 3–5+ years in the financial services industry or equivalent.
• Series 65 in good standing.
• CFP coursework completed or in progress.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with financial planning software such as eMoney.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to explain the rationale behind recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing comprehensive financial plans.
• Gather and organize client financial details.
• Analyze investments, retirement planning, cash flow, education funding, risk management, tax planning, and estate considerations.
• Prepare client meeting materials, reports and action items.
• Develop understanding of equity compensation.
• Participate in client conversations.
• Refine processes with continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate client records in planning software.
