CLEAResult seeks a Senior Financial Operations Consultant to partner with program managers, handling cost accounting, month-end close, and external audit support. You will analyze revenue, labor, and expenses, assist with budgets and forecasting, and generate key financial insights for strategic decisions.

The role is remote for candidates in New England, requiring 7+ years in accounting/finance and strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred, and/or equivalent experience.
• Strong cost accounting background with experience preparing financial statements for external audit.
• Experience managing month-end close with accuracy and efficiency.
• Knowledge of ASC 606/revenue recognition and its impacts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-of-month closing process with accuracy and drive efficiencies.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting docs for external audit.
• Apply cost accounting to analyze program costs, labor, and expenses.
• Collaborate with program managers to understand impacts to P&L and establish KPI measures.
• Support budget analyses, forecasting, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
