OpenTrain AI is recruiting contractors for a financial analysis project conducted remotely. The role focuses on forecasting and researching how upcoming company events propagate through economic networks, with emphasis on primary evidence and fixed time discipline.

This is a remote, hourly contractor position offering 20+ hours per week and an hourly rate of USD 150–250. English language proficiency is required, and candidates from listed eligible locations are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior sector portfolio manager, lead equity analyst, or event-driven investor.
• Ability to map company economic networks from filings and industry data.
• Judgment in distinguishing direct event exposure from weak thematic correlation.

Responsibilities

• Map suppliers, customers, competitors, distributors, substitutes, and geographic exposure.
• Research EDGAR filings, footnotes, exhibits, transcripts, and industry data.
• Identify companies related to an upcoming event.
• Separate direct event exposure from weak thematic correlation.
• Estimate direction, magnitude, time horizon, and confidence for each relationship.
• Explain the relevant revenue, margin, earnings, or valuation mechanism.
• Review model-generated financial analyses.
