Job summary

Lightstar, an affiliate of Eagle Creek Renewable Energy LLC, is seeking a detail-oriented accounting leader to join the finance team. The role focuses on US GAAP financial reporting, general ledger oversight, and project-based cost capitalization across multiple solar development projects.

You will partner with auditors, tax advisors, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and cash management while building scalable controls in a fast-paced, growth-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• MBA or Master’s in Finance/Accounting is a plus.
• 7–10 years of accounting/finance experience, with 3–5 years in a senior role.
• Renewable energy development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP.
• Manage GL, AP, AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee project-based cost capitalization and LNTP accounting.
• Coordinate audits and tax filings with advisors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
• Develop and maintain internal controls framework.
• Collaborate with development, legal, origination, and asset teams.
• Support board-level financial presentations.
