Job summary

Simera is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and data analysis. The role focuses on interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and delivering insights for informed business decisions.

The position involves developing financial models, maintaining documentation, and presenting findings to management. A remote-friendly setup with strong Excel/BI skills is preferred, based in the San Francisco area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience producing financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and models.
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet modeling skills.
• Experience with variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Understanding of financial statements and key metrics.
• Experience with financial systems or BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, performance, and operational metrics.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, budgets, and management presentations.
• Develop and maintain financial models and analytical tools.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and key indicators.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate differences from plan.
