Job summary

Simera is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will interpret financial information, identify trends, and provide insights to inform strategic business decisions.

You will develop and maintain financial models, prepare reports and management presentations, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Operations to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet modeling skills.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and communicate conclusions.
• Proven ability to present findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, performance, and operational metrics.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, budgets, and management presentations.
• Develop and maintain financial models and analytical tools.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and KPI s.
• Perform variance analysis comparing actual vs. plan.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Collect and validate financial information from multiple sources.
• Prepare regular financial and performance reports for management.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Conduct financial and business analysis to support decisions.
• Assist with scenario analysis and projections.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and teams to validate information.
• Maintain accurate financial models, databases, and documentation.
• Research financial and market information when required.
• Ensure analyses and reports are accurate, timely, and consistent.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Support special financial projects and process improvements.
