Job summary

SuperbTech, Inc. is seeking a dependable Financial Analyst to support our client's newly established joint venture finance team. This role covers hands-on accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, cash reporting, and transaction processing, with room to grow into FP&A as the team matures.

Remote work is available with occasional onsite visits to Marina/Santa Cruz, CA region roughly quarterly. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in accounting/finance, solid Excel skills, and experience with an

Qualifications

1–3 years of accounting, finance, treasury, audit, or financial analysis experience or internships.
Knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and basic financial statements.
Intermediate Excel: formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data organization.
Experience using an ERP or general-ledger system.
Strong accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and follow-through.
Ability to follow established approval processes and financial controls.

Responsibilities

Update financial models, assumption schedules, data, and calculations under direction.
Prepare routine journal entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance with proper documentation.
Support monthly close, openings balances, reconciliations, accruals, and GL maintenance.
Assist with bank reconciliations, cash-position reporting, and cash-management documentation.
Enter and maintain vendor, invoice, account, cost-center, fixed-asset data.
Support AP, fixed assets, treasury, and other transaction-processing activities.
