Cherokee Federal is seeking an Intermediate Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Coast Guard FMS/EDA programs remotely. You will perform financial execution, reconciliations, reporting, and case file maintenance under the direction of the Program Manager and Government COR.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 5 years of USCG/DoD budgeting experience. Starting salary ranges from $100,000 to $104,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in USCG or DoD budgeting, formulation, and execution.
• FMS USCG or DoD case-level financial and business operations experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Pro; ability to handle financial data securely.

Responsibilities

• Support routine FMS case financial management and reconciliations across the case life cycle.
• Prepare and route MIPR acceptances and documentation for government review.
• Perform weekly reconciliation and assist with FMS Financial Management Reviews.
