Zusammenfassung

The University of Wisconsin–Madison, Department of Radiology, seeks a Transactional & Reporting Financial Analyst to oversee its transactional team and provide comprehensive financial management across SMPH and UW Health funding sources. This role manages non-salary budgets, coordinates transactions for faculty with multi-entity funding, and ensures compliance with institutional policies.

Primarily remote/offsite with occasional on-site work; expected schedule Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifikationen

• At least 2 years of professional experience analyzing financial transactions, managing general ledger reconciliations, and preparing financial reports for leadership decision making.
• At least 3 years of professional experience improving financial processes, workflows or systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, or compliance.

Aufgaben

• Identifies, verifies, and audits financial charges, credits, and authorizes payments.
• May supervise staff of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent.
• Serves as a SME to unit leadership regarding financial operations, status and reporting.
• Plans and directs financial and accounting operations for multiple areas; coordinates data management, budget preparation and reporting.
• Analyzes financial information and makes recommendations to unit leadership.
• Implements unit-specific fiscal policies and procedures ensuring compliance.
