University of Tennessee, Knoxville is seeking a Financial Aid Systems Analyst to enhance and maintain student-focused financial aid systems. The role supports recruitment, retention, and graduation goals by ensuring compliant, efficient processes across Ellucian Banner Financial Aid and third-party integrations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in technical/systems support or related roles, or an Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in technical or systems support, data analysis, or financial aid systems in higher education; OR Associate degree and 4+ years in financial aid systems, SQL programming, or higher education technology.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
• Experience organizing data and documenting processes
• Experience developing solutions and efficiencies in processes
• Experience with Ellucian Banner Financial Aid

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance financial aid systems and processes for accurate, compliant service delivery
• Design, develop, program, configure, and maintain Ellucian Banner Financial Aid modules and integrated third-party systems
• Provide liaison support with technical teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement
