Job summary

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) invites applications for a Financial Aid Systems Analyst in a fully remote role. You will design, configure, and maintain Ellucian Banner Financial Aid and integrated systems to support enrollment and student outcomes.

Key duties include advanced SQL programming, data validation, and collaboration with vendors to ensure compliant, efficient processes across financial aid operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in technical systems support, data analysis, or financial aid systems within higher education.
• Associate degree and 4+ years of direct experience in financial aid systems, SQL programming, or higher education technology.
• Extensive experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
• Experience with Ellucian Banner Financial Aid and related systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, configure, and maintain Ellucian Banner Financial Aid modules and integrated third-party systems.
• Serve as liaison with technical teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
• Support operational excellence and strategic enrollment management initiatives through data analysis and validation.
