Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is offering a full-time, twelve-week Accounting Internship available remotely. The intern will join the Financial Accounting Services team to gain real-world accounting experience through journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/quarter-end reporting.

The role requires at least three years of college coursework in Accounting or a related field, with a GPA of 3.2 overall and 3.4 in Accounting, and strong Excel/Office skills. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

Background: minimum three years of college education toward a degree in Accounting or Business with an Accounting emphasis.
One year from graduation preferred.
GPA: overall 3.2+ and Accounting GPA 3.4+ required.

Responsibilities

Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for monthly financial statements and analysis.
Report Generation: Generate month-end and quarter-end financial reporting reports.
Asset Review: Complete the annual asset review process.
Regulatory Assistance: Assist in insurance industry regulatory reporting and with financial examinations and audits.
Process Improvement: Implement process improvements and develop internal control policies and procedures.
