Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a remote summer Tax internship designed to support the Finance organization in minimizing operating taxes and driving data-driven insights.

Summer interns will work on tax processes, data analytics, and reporting using Excel, Power BI, and SQL, with opportunities to present analyses to senior leaders. The program runs for 10 weeks and is open to students nationwide.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year undergrad or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
• Strong numerical and data-analysis skills with ability to visualize insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to leaders.
• Experience with virtual, cross-functional collaboration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support internal tax processes and software to minimize taxes.
• Create and analyze SQL-based reports from Snowflake.
• Develop data visualizations and Power BI reports.
• Communicate insights to leadership and stakeholders.
