Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote Finance Summer Intern position designed to expose you to audit planning, risk assessment, and dashboard development. You’ll work with our Audit team across projects and apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Eligible students pursuing Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related fields gain hands-on experience, learn IT security basics, and leverage tools like Excel, Power BI, Python, and Copilot in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; basic IT security basics and information systems knowledge.
• Interest in AI tools and process automation like Power BI, Python, Copilot, Claude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in a virtual environment.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Audit and Finance team on planning and executing projects.
• Evaluate business processes, information systems, and internal controls.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Document procedures, conclusions, and evidence clearly.
• Develop dashboards, data analytics, or automation solutions.
• Participate in project meetings and report progress.
