Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote Tax Summer Intern program designed to minimize operating taxes and support the Finance organization. You’ll work on internal tax processes, analytics, and Snowflake SQL reporting, supporting cross-functional initiatives with leaders.

Ideal candidates are pursuing 4-year or advanced degrees in Tax, Accounting, or Finance, and have strong Excel/PowerPoint skills with data storytelling ability. Remote, United States-based internship with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
• Strong data analytics and visualization skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• SQL experience is a plus.
• Power BI familiarity helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with virtual cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support internal tax processes and software for the Finance organization.
• Perform data analyses and prepare reports to support tax initiatives.
• Create dashboards and visuals to communicate insights.
• Document processes from ideation to deliverable.
