Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Financial Business Analyst to optimize Workday Financials, Payroll, and Time Tracking through reporting, data analysis, and process improvements. This role collaborates with Financial Services, Payroll, HR, Information Services, and operations.

You will support system administration, testing, data governance, and end-user training, helping ensure data integrity and efficient business processes across the Workday ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, information systems or related field preferred.
• 2+ years experience in finance systems, payroll systems, business analysis, reporting, accounting, finance, HRIS, or related business support functions required.
• Experience with Workday reporting, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Excel Power Query, or similar reporting tools preferred.
• Experience with Workday Financials, Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, or other cloud-based ERP systems preferred.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, payroll processing, or financial master data structures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports day-to-day administration and functional maintenance of Workday Financials, Payroll, Time Tracking, and related applications.
• Assists users with troubleshooting system issues, research, testing, and resolution of Workday-related incidents.
• Partners with Financial Services, Payroll, HR, and Information Services to identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of approved solutions.
• Supports maintenance of the Workday Financial Data Model (FDM), including worktags, hierarchies, organizations, and related reference data.
• Assists with Workday releases, enhancements, and projects by documenting requirements, preparing test scripts, executing testing, and coordinating user acceptance testing activities.
• Provides end-user training and ongoing support for Workday functionality and reporting tools.
