Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Finance Specialist to provide advanced financial management across a shared services pod serving Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia. You’ll partner with Finance leadership to deliver budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and month- and year-end close activities, while ensuring policy compliance and process improvements.

Remote role with preference to Eastern/Central time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience with accounting/financial issues and analysis.
• Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Supports budgeting, forecasting, financial close, reporting, and other core financial management activities.
• Prepares and delivers financial reports, analyses, reconciliations, and other financial deliverables.
• Monitors financial performance, identifies trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicates findings to leadership.
