Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a senior professional in Payer Contracting to lead data-driven analyses and strategic initiatives around hospital and physician reimbursement. You will negotiate, model, and optimize contracts with payors, develop analytic workflows, and mentor junior staff across SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau tools.

The role emphasizes leading complex analyses, presenting options to leadership, and collaborating with Revenue Cycle, Government Affairs, and Quality teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Policy/Management, Healthcare Administration or a related field
• Master's Degree in a related field preferred
• 5+ years of healthcare financial analysis, budgeting or financial management experience required
• Experience in managed care or hospital reimbursement with payor and complex reimbursement methodologies
• 3+ years using Alteryx for advanced data analytics and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
• 2+ years leading projects influencing strategic direction and staff development
• Skills assessment may be required focusing on advanced SQL and Access with a data source and case study

Responsibilities

• Lead optimization of data and analytic processes to improve timeliness and quality
• Serve as trusted subject matter expert in healthcare contract finance and independently lead complex analyses
• Identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements with data-driven recommendations
• Mentor and oversee professional development of analytic staff and manage workplans
• Develop options and recommendations for leadership and committees, with clear context and data
