Job summary

Devereux is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Director of Finance, Ancillary Services to oversee the financial performance of several growing service lines, including pharmacy services, educational consulting, autism services, and direct care training programs.

In this role, you'll partner with senior leaders to drive financial performance, oversee budgeting and forecasting, manage contracts and revenue streams, and support strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant field.
• Five years senior finance leadership experience preferred.
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, pharmacy, education, or related industry preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and contract management skills.
• Experience managing multiple revenue streams and complex financial operations.
• Knowledge of billing, AR, inventory controls, and financial compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reporting, forecasting, analysis, and month-end close.
• Manage revenue streams, billing operations, accounts receivable, cash applications, and vendor payments.
• Oversee contract development, execution, and compliance for revenue agreements and independent contractors.
• Lead annual budgeting process and provide budget-to-actual analysis.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend profitability and efficiency improvements.
• Oversee inventory valuation, forecasting, reconciliations, and cost-of-goods analyses.
• Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements and regulations.
• Partner with Corporate Finance, Legal, HR, Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present financial reports and performance analyses to senior leadership.
• Lead special projects related to financial operations, productivity, utilization, and growth initiatives.
