Job summary

CertiK is seeking an analytical Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced finance team in the United States. You will own critical data maintenance, perform reconciliations, and support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and automation initiatives. The role offers exposure to crypto-related financial processes and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, a strong foundation in GAAP, and advanced Excel skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field with 1–2 years of experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping, accruals).
• Strong Excel data manipulation skills and experience with process automation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records with data integrity across ledgers and reporting systems.
• Perform weekly/monthly reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assist pre- and post-close activities to ensure accurate month-end close.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts.
• Automate reporting and reconciliation tasks using Python, SQL, Google Apps Script, or Excel macros.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements with minimal supervision.
• Handle ad hoc tasks from senior management and external stakeholders.
• Support YE audit and tax processes.
