Job summary

CertiK, the leading Web3 security platform, is seeking a proactive Financial Analyst (1-2 years) to join our fast-paced finance team in the United States. You will own record maintenance, high-volume data scrubbing, and detailed reconciliations, supporting month-end close, strategic analysis, and automation initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a finance or accounting degree, a strong GAAP foundation, excellent Excel/data skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping and accruals.
• Minimum GPA of 3.6.
• Proficient with Excel with data manipulation and automation experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Maintenance & Record Keeping: Maintain, scrub, and organize large sets of financial records across ledgers and reporting systems.
• Reconciliations & Variance Investigation: Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations, investigate variances and discrepancies.
• Pre/Post-close Preparation & Support: Assist with pre-close items to ensure data is ready for month-end close.
• Analysis & Modeling: Assist with financial modeling, profitability analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Streamline reporting workflows and routine reconciliations using automation tools and scripts (Python, SQL, Google Apps Script, Excel macros).
• Proactive Task Management: Identify gaps and independently resolve operational inefficiencies.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Execute tasks from senior management and investors.
• Audit & Tax Support: Provide assistance to YE audit and tax reporting.
