Job summary

Confluence Health in Washington state is seeking a Financial Budget Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The role partners with operational and clinical leaders to develop annual budgets, monitor performance, and provide actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

The position may be done remotely with residency in WA or other eligible states, and reports to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. Experience with Axiom and healthcare finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to business or accounting.
• 3+ years professional healthcare budgeting or accounting experience.
• Experience with Infor, Axiom, Epic, Excel.
• HFMA member.

Responsibilities

• Perform budget variance analysis monthly and quarterly.
• Develop accurate proformas using the cost accounting system.
• Organize large amounts of data in multiple systems efficiently.
• Provide end-user training on budgeting, variance reporting, and research.
• Assist in the annual budget and track adherence throughout the year.
• Analyze financial impact of projects related to growth, productivity, HR, and services.
