CFS is partnering with a respected nonprofit healthcare organization in Baltimore, MD to recruit a Financial Analyst. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic support with exposure to executive leadership.

The analyst will lead budgeting processes, build models, and provide insights for decision-making. This position reports to the CFO and offers a hybrid schedule in Baltimore City, with some remote work after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Healthcare and/or nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus.
• Intermediate Excel experience required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating and capital budgeting processes across departments.
• Develop budget models, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial and operational reports.
• Analyze financial statements, KPIs, and trends to identify risks/opportunities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and reconciliations.
• Support annual audits with reports and schedules.
• Create financial models and ad hoc analyses for initiatives/ROI.
• Partner with department leaders to monitor budget performance/variances.
• Monitor capital spending and assist long-range planning.
• Present findings to finance leadership and stakeholders.
