Job summary

Soda Data is seeking a Finance & AI Automation Intern to run core finance processes and automate the manual work across three entities and two currencies. You’ll use Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, and smart spreadsheet designs to build reliable checks and automate workflows.

The role emphasizes accuracy, ownership from week one, and a hands-on approach to learning processes before automating them. Fully remote with potential hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Finance, accounting, economics, or related degree.
• Experience building automations or scripts using AI tools.
• Ability to verify outputs with checks and reconciliations.
• Proactive approach to identifying manual work and automating it.
• Fluent written and spoken English in a remote-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Run core finance processes: invoicing, month-end reporting, payroll data prep, expense management, intercompany recharges.
• Automate processes using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, or spreadsheet design where appropriate.
• Build robust checks and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Document processes so both humans and AI agents can follow.
• Support reporting, analysis, and projects across entities in Belgium/US.
