Daybreak Health is seeking a Finance Analyst to own the month-end close and build driver-based financial models that forecast revenue, clinician costs, and margin. You’ll partner with leaders across the business to explain drivers and support strategic decisions.

The role blends accounting and FP&A, offering growth from hands-on close work into planning, forecasting, and board reporting. Fully remote from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field with accounting coursework.
• 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience, incl. month-end close.
• Demonstrated financial modeling experience with operating/driver-based models.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets with auditable models; ERP exposure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core financial models linking revenue, costs, and margins to the financial statements.
• Own the annual budget and rolling forecast in partnership with leaders.
• Run scenario analyses and quantify impact of changes for leadership.
• Forecast revenue, clinician capacity, payer mix, and contract economics.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure auditable, well-documented outputs for boards and investors.
• Partner with Clinical, Operations, Revenue Cycle, and GTM to explain drivers.
