Job summary

Kinetic Potential seeks a Finance/Accounting Talent Advisor to lead a new accounting services practice. The role merges Adjunct Professor and Business Services Manager duties to develop junior talent and manage client relationships virtually.

The ideal candidate brings 8–10+ years in accounting, CPA credentials, and proven ability to lead bookkeepers in a client services model while coordinating with diverse departments. Strong GAAP knowledge and teaching experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in accounting with QBO and cloud accounting focus.
• Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor; CPA preferred; teaching background desired.
• Experience leading a bookkeeper team in a client services model.
• Strong analytical, communication, and GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of bookkeepers, assign work, and establish weekly/monthly task processes for all clients.
• Provide guidance and ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulations (quality control).
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures aligned with best practices and regulations.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with other departments to align accounting with business needs.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure agency compliance.
• Develop working knowledge of QBO and other accounting software.
• Provide training and support to staff on QBO and other software.
• Support integration of QBO with our proprietary eCommerce platform and other systems.
