Job summary

ELITEBRAIN in the United States is seeking experienced Finance & Accounting Experts to contribute to AI training projects as independent contractors. This fully remote role involves designing multi-step tasks that test how AI handles complex financial workflows.

You will craft FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, and reconciliations tasks, with clear instructions, supporting materials, and objective grading criteria.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Auditing, or Account Reconciliations.
• Direct responsibility for financial processes; supervisory or advisory roles only is not sufficient.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, GL transactions, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and controls.
• Experience developing or applying structured review standards, including audit programs or quality frameworks.
• Advanced Excel skills including financial analysis, data validation, reconciliations, and complex spreadsheets.
• Ability to analyze information across documents, identify discrepancies, investigate errors, and apply sound financial judgment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (advanced B2 or C1).
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality assignments remotely.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic, multi-step finance and accounting tasks based on actual workflows (FP&A, reporting, auditing, reconciliations).
• Transform complex processes into clearly structured assignments with instructions, supporting docs, and measurable outcomes.
• Develop objective grading criteria and evaluation standards for independent reviewers.
• Create scenarios requiring financial judgment, analytical reasoning, error identification, and interpretation of information.
• Prepare supporting materials including Excel spreadsheets, GL extracts, financial statements, audit docs, and accounting policies.
• Develop tasks involving reconciliations, variance analysis, reporting accuracy, and discrepancy identification.
• Review assignments to ensure clarity and objective measurability.
• Deliver completed tasks by project deadlines and quality standards.
