Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Field Telecom Technician to support our nationwide network infrastructure. This role travels to customer sites and remote locations for installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment, acting as the primary contact for on-site issues.

The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage a demanding travel schedule while ensuring client services meet performance standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar telecom role.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optics, copper cabling, and wireless tech.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment at customer sites and remote locations.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to network and communication systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure longevity and reliability.
• Respond to service calls and resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to end-users and local staff.
• Document all work performed, including site visit reports and repair logs.

About the Role

You will be the primary point of contact for on-site technical issues, ensuring that client services are operational and meeting performance standards. Key Responsibilities
