Job summary

The Technical Representative will collaborate with Sales Representatives to grow product sales by providing installation training, job support services, and inspections. The ideal candidate will reside in the Cleveland or Columbus, OH area and be prepared for heavy travel across Ohio, Northern KY and parts of West Virginia, including up to six overnight stays per month.

Major duties include performing field inspections, demonstrating products to owners and contractors, and strengthening

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 3 years roofing-related experience.
• Low slope commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of field applications at Johns Manville approved contractors' sites to protect JM while encouraging repeat business.
• Demonstrate new products to owners, specifiers and contractors to build confidence to buy.
• Improve JM owner relationships and resolve guarantee claims issues.
