Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Technical Field Advisor to provide on-site technical direction for Steam Turbine Generator systems. You will review plant documents, troubleshoot equipment, plan resources, and ensure safe maintenance per contract requirements. The role is remote within the U.S.

with up to 80% travel, primarily in the U.S. and Canada, and requires a strong engineering background. The position emphasizes field service, installation, calibration, and emergency support, with formal training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3.0+ GPA, or HS Diploma with 4+ years in field services.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Ability to obtain Unescorted Security Clearance to Nuclear Facilities across NAM.

Responsibilities

• Manage Steam Power site activities and coordinate installations.
• Perform on-site installation, preventive maintenance, repair and calibration.
• Respond to emergency repairs and provide technical instruction to customer reps.
• Prepare technical reports, time sheets, and expense reports promptly and accurately.
