Job summary

Arjo Inc is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair on Arjo medical equipment, traveling to hospitals in Western North Carolina. The role requires troubleshooting electromechanical systems and building strong customer relationships to foster growth.

The position involves 40% overnight travel, driving to customer locations, and ensuring safety codes compliance. Benefits start day-one and a 401k match is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Training and/or certifications preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer locations (medical facilities).
• Technical diagnosis and repair cost estimates on customer-owned medical equipment.
• Assists the Sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc).
• Grow Service Contracts revenue through service contracts and renewal of existing service contracts.
• Align with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
• Completed and submit accurate reporting.
• Spare parts inventory management.
• Daily driving to customer locations (medical facilities); 40% overnight travel.
