Job summary

Verifi, part of Saint-Gobain, seeks a Field Service Technician for the San Antonio region. This remote role supports customers with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of Verifi systems and admixture equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, technical support, or related hands-on technical role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and 12/24V DC electrical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, meters, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, overnight travel, and emergency service calls.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Verifi systems and admixture equipment.
• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Respond to customer service requests and emergency repairs.
• Analyze system performance data and identify root causes.
• Serve as field contact for customers and coordinate with internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication.
• Partner with Sales teams to support customer retention and growth initiatives.
• Manage service schedules and prioritize work activities.
• Provide on-site technical expertise and safety compliance.
• Complete all required safety training and adhere to safety policies.
• Develop understanding of concrete production operations and industry best practices.
• Suggest improvements to equipment reliability and service processes.
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Product Development for improvements.
