Job summary

DEUTZ Corporation seeks a Remote Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, install, and repair DEUTZ machinery at customer sites across TX and beyond. You will coordinate with the Service Supervisor, Parts Dept, and engineering teams to ensure timely repairs and quality service.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, field experience, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You must own tools and be ready for extensive travel, including international engagements where needed.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years as a shop tech, 1–3 years as a field tech, or 1–2 years as a remote technician.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the company.
• Must maintain DOT medical card status.
• Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, phone).
• Proficient with basic computer functions and portable diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform engine and equipment repairs.
• Assist in resolving customer-related issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized service area and present a professional image.
