Job summary

DEUTZ is seeking a Remote Field Service Technician III to perform engine and equipment repairs at customer sites, with remote Ohio operations. Travel both domestically and internationally as needed, maintaining safety and quality in all tasks.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, experience with diesel engines, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with the Service Supervisor and Parts Department. A valid license and DOT card are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a shop tech, 2+ years field tech or 2-3 years as remote tech.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must maintain DOT medical card status and have a valid driver's license.
• Own tools; DEUTZ tools provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform engine and equipment repairs.
• Pre-order parts and materials required to perform repairs.
• Inspect required repairs safely and according to manufacturer requirements.
• Ensure all repairs are completed and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Communicate with customers in a respectful and honest manner.
