Job summary

premiertech is seeking a Field Service Technician to optimize industrial automation and packaging equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, including robotics and electromechanics, and the ability to provide advice and training to customers. The position offers flexibility with remote work and regular travel, preferred proximity to Salt Lake City for training purposes.

Candidates should have experience with packaging machinery, safety proficiency, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as field service technician with electromechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic schematics.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage uptime by addressing customers’ challenges.
• Advise and train customers on the equipment.
• Audit equipment and provide recommendations to optimize uptime.
