Job summary

Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Company LLC is seeking a Field Service Specialist to perform comprehensive field service on turboexpander packages, ensuring reliability and optimal performance in diverse sites. The role demands inspecting equipment, preventive maintenance, overhauls and precise repairs following OEM standards.

You will support startup, commissioning and testing phases, diagnose complex issues, document findings, and provide customer training while maintaining safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degrees or vocational training preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience servicing turboexpanders or similar rotating equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with repair capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and alignment procedures.
• Proficient in using computers and service reporting systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service on turboexpander packages ensuring optimal function and reliability.
• Lead startup, commissioning and performance testing phases with customer satisfaction in mind.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed technical service reports with findings and recommendations.
• Interpret P&IDs, drawings and manuals to plan maintenance and repair approaches.
• Maintain safety, comply with customer requirements and environmental regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to customer maintenance personnel.
