Job summary

LECO, located in St. Joseph, Michigan, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain, repair, install, and train customers on analytical and metallographic instruments in the South-Central Region. This full-time, remote role involves travel with up to four overnight stays weekly, mainly across Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.

The position offers a $5,000 signing bonus. The ideal candidate will travel daily, participate in training at LECO in Michigan, and complete annual service trainings.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or trade school completed.
• Military technical training acceptable.
• Equivalent technical experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair analytical/metallographic instruments; troubleshoot and fix issues.
• Install new instruments and upgrade kits.
• Provide training on theory, operation, software, and maintenance.
• Work in compliance with LECO ISO accreditation.
