Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site and remote support for industrial automation equipment. This role involves 80–100% travel, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and training at customer facilities or company sites.

Strong PLC/HMI and robot programming skills, plus experience with Fanuc/ABB, are preferred. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate degree in a related field preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and field service.
• Robot programming experience with Fanuc/ABB preferred.
• Strong PLC/HMI/robotics knowledge and ability to read prints.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, testing, training, installs, and maintenance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and support on site or at a company location.
• Work independently or in a team-based environment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, PLC, HMI, robot programming, networks, and Fieldbus systems.
• Meet project timelines and budgets with proactive initiative.
• Travel 80–100% to install, start-up, and support projects.
• Assist with equipment installation, rigging, alignment, wiring, and startup.
• Complete all work documentation on time.
• Identify potential future opportunities with customers onsite.
