Job summary
Leica Biosystems is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to support installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic instruments from home-based Atlanta, GA. You will troubleshoot, document service activities, and assist with service contracts while traveling domestically up to 90% (with some international travel).
The role requires an associate degree with field service experience or a science bachelor’s degree with relevant experience, and a willingness to work remotely with the service team
Qualifications
- Associates degree with 3+ years of field service experience OR Bachelors in Science with 1+ year in related field.
- Equivalent military experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Willingness to travel up to 90% domestically, with potential international travel.
Responsibilities
- Provide installation support, maintenance, modification and/or repair on 1–2 groups of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic and/or refrigeration instruments.
- Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner to follow ISO, FDA, and Leica policies.
- Actively support the sale of service contracts, assist sales representatives & service team members with system configurations/upgrades.
