Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support remote work in the East Pennsylvania region (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area). The role involves on-site troubleshooting, preventive and emergency maintenance of electro-mechanical automation solutions, and regular communication with nursing and pharmacy staff.

Travel to local hospitals and clinics is expected. Level I/II responsibilities vary by scope, with Level II adding independent troubleshooting, advanced issue handling, and coaching.

Qualifications

• Coursework in Network Engineering, Robotics, or Electronics.
• Experience working in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical solutions.
• Regularly communicate with nursing and pharmacy staff and address problems of moderate scope.
• Independently perform onsite troubleshooting and maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical and automation solutions.
• Coach and mentor as needed.
• Document all service events per Omnicell policies and procedures.
• Meet company guidelines for response time and service levels.
• Escalate product bugs, malfunctions, and design issues through support channels.
• Participate in staff meetings.
• Maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Manage parts inventory and return materials.
