Job summary
Omnicell is seeking a Field Service Engineer I or II to keep our automation systems in healthcare facilities running reliably. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical and software-enabled pharmacy and supply automation on site, collaborating with nurses, pharmacists, and IT staff.
You'll perform preventive maintenance, manage service events, document activities, and escalate complex issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospital or healthcare settings is required.
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities are essential.
- Coursework or training in networking, electronics, or robotics.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical and automation system issues onsite.
- Perform preventive maintenance to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
- Document service activities, escalations, and follow-ups accurately.
- Deliver high-quality service and build relationships with healthcare staff.
- Manage parts inventory, on-site logistics, and SLA adherence.
