Job summary

LECO Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Southwestern region to perform maintenance, repairs, installations, and training on analytical and metallographic instrumentation. The majority of work is remote with travel to customer sites in the Southwestern states, including Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas, with up to four overnight stays per week.

The ideal candidate will reside near Shreveport, LA, and will travel across the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or trade school.
• Prior Military experience with training in a technical field.
• Equivalent work experience or training in a technical field.
• EOE M/F/VET/Disability

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive/general maintenance, breakdown repair, troubleshooting and corrective actions to analytical and metallographic instrumentation
• Perform new instrumentation installations as well as updates and upgrade kit installations
• Provide training on theory, operation, software, and good maintenance practices
• Maintain accurate inventory records, expense reports, and vehicle logs.
