HITACHI ENERGY USA INC in Raleigh, North Carolina, seeks an experienced engineer to support installation, commissioning, and service of advanced power grid technologies within Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration Service. You will work with HMI, MicroSCADA, and PLC to ensure reliable grid operation.

You will lead fault tracing, verification, and on-site support, collaborating with project teams while contributing to continuous service improvements. Some travel is required.

Competenze

• Candidate must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automatic Control Theory, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with computer-based control systems and knowledge of ANSI/IEC standards.

Mansioni

• Support commissioning, service, and maintenance of power system control platforms (HMI, MicroSCADA, PLC).
• Perform fault tracing, correction, and verification of control system components.
• Provide field and phone support for service teams and customers on control system matters.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, suppliers, and customers to meet service requirements.
• Deliver control system training to internal teams and customers.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on service and control system effectiveness.
• Support tendering activities with control system insights.
