Job summary

McKesson’s Field Sales Support Intern program offers a paid, 10-week internship designed for high-potential students. Interns will work with the Health Systems Field Sales Team and customers to connect classroom learnings with real-world healthcare distribution and services.

The role emphasizes experiential learning, exposure to sales techniques, research strategies, and cross-functional responsibilities, with travel and remote work included to maximize hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student at undergraduate or graduate level.
• Must have completed at least 75 credit hours by start of internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States; 18+.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during core hours.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Sales team and cross-functional members to manage customer relationships.
• Perform sales and admin tasks on small to mid-size accounts under guidance.
• Conduct competitive analysis and report market trends to stakeholders.
• Learn core competencies: adaptability, customer focus, decision making, initiative, quality.
• Ride along with team members to observe and engage with customers.
• Present products and services aligned to customer needs.
• Participate in weekly meetings, workshops and final project presentations.
• Support ad hoc projects as requested.
