Job summary

Amgen is hiring a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Pittsburgh, PA region to oversee patient access and reimbursement strategies across specified accounts. The role requires deep knowledge of PHI privacy, payer processes, and collaboration with HUB and other departments.

Travel up to 40% and a mix of remote work from home are expected. The ideal candidate will have doctoral or equivalent education with leadership experience, and strong presentation, communication, and project management skills

Qualifications

• Requires doctorate or equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.
• Experience in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and project management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts within a geographic region for Patient Access and Reimbursement.
• Support products by executing territory strategic plan.
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage and reimbursement processes.
• Resolve patient-level reimbursement issues and guidance on PHI privacy.
