Ahtna, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead field QA/QC on Federal Government and other construction projects. You will define, inspect, and document daily work to ensure compliance with project standards and scope.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, or Construction Management.
• Ten (10) years of relevant construction experience as a QC Manager.
• Current USACE CQM Certificate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 scheduling tools.
• Experience with RMS project management documentation.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods for government, commercial and institutional buildings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• OSHA 30-hour training and 1st Aid/CPR within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass background checks for military base access.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Manager, Superintendent, and site team to define quality requirements.
• Communicate standards of care for each feature of work to the project team.
• Ensure drawings and submittals conform to specifications and changes.
• Chairs and documents weekly site QC meetings and minutes.
• Provide written daily QC reports and inspection records.
• Monitor QC conformance and address non-conformances promptly.
• Verify materials meet submittals and are properly stored.
• Schedule and document code/inspections and maintain logs.
• Maintain as-built drawings daily and coordinate testing/commissioning of systems.
• Prepare pre-punch and punch lists and document completion.
• Capture final inspections, occupancy certificates, and acceptance.
