Job summary

Ahtna, Inc. in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to support USACE projects across Alaska. The role requires travel to various job sites to ensure work meets contract plans and standards and to maintain the project’s QC program.

You will manage RMS documentation, prepare QCRs and submittals, and coordinate with the Project Manager and field staff to resolve deficiencies. A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years USACE QC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Safety, or other relevant field.
• Five (5) years of construction quality control experience on USACE projects.
• Thorough understanding of USACE Quality Control requirements and the Three-Phase Control System.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and surveillance of construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Assist in implementing and enforcing the project-specific Quality Control Plan.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contract quality requirements.
• Coordinate and document inspections and testing activities.
• Prepare inspection reports, deficiency logs, corrective action reports, and quality summaries.
