Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to handle homeowners claims across Connecticut, with a focus on Windsor, Vernon, or Suffield. You will assess losses, determine coverage, and negotiate settlements while managing supplements, ALE, contents, and full claim ownership.

Strong Xactimate skills and an active or reciprocal license are preferred. Ideal candidates will combine field and desk experience, excellent organization, and top-notch customer service to keep customers informed

Qualifications

• Connecticut homeowners property claims experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Xactimate and claims handling including supplements and ALE.
• Active license or reciprocity in applicable states preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish.
• Confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages, negotiate settlements.
• Manage full claim lifecycle including supplements and ALE, contents, and property losses.
• Deliver excellent customer service with clear, timely communication.
